There will not be a flood of daily updates, just too much happening at the farm to do that.
email us at events@highlandorchards.net to subscribe to the actual enewsletter. or to ask question or to suggest ideas to be covered in future newsletters

To see PYO pricing click Here

The warm winter rushed the start of the growing season. As farmers we don’t worry so much about the warm, its the cold that sometimes follows that does the damage.

The dark centers of the strawberry blossoms pictured above indicate fruit that will never develop, having been killed by cold frost. The good news is this has happened early enough that more buds may have time to open and develop.

Interestingly some of the very early blossoms missed the frost damage. Hence we will have some very early berries then very limited availability and finally end very strong the beginning of June.

It will be a short season and if nice weather prevails the first two weekends in June will reward us with sweet juicy strawberries to pick!

In our Farm Market and Bakery right now:
Rhubarb, Asparagus, bedding plants
Now Open 10-6 everyday

As always call before your driving a distance as picking conditions can and will change daily this year...
610.269.3494

Take your pick and get carving!
Farm market and Bakery open Mon-Sat 9-6 and Sunday 10-6
We are taking advance orders for Thanksgiving Pies and we are ready to ship apples in gift boxes anywhere east of the Mississippi. 610.269.3494
