Newsletters are published as new crops start otherwise pretty infrequently. There will not be a flood of daily updates, just too much going on on the farm to do that.
email us at events@highlandorchards.net to subscribe to the actual enewsletter. or to ask question or to suggest ideas to be covered in future newsletters

Thats a hard and easy question at the same time. The Easy part is answering: we do much of the same things that we were doing at the same time we were picking. Hard part is to figure out how we fit it all in. Our Farm Market is open every day till January. Even after that we are open Thurs-Sunday. We still have many thousands of bushels of apples in cold storage to wash, sort, and sell. We have all the daily farm land maintenance. School tours are scheduled to continue for several more weeks. Groups are still scheduling evening hayrides for this fall. We are packing and shipping apple boxes for gifts all up and down the East Coast. And the Bakery is gearing up for all those thanksgiving pies. Plenty to do and didn’t even mention pruning or equipment repair...
